Insurance claims
collision claims & deductibles
You have enough to deal with after an accident. We work directly with your insurance company, manage the paperwork, and keep your collision repair on track. Whether you are comparing auto body shops or auto repair shops, you have the right to shop directly and choose where your car and vehicle are repaired. Your collision coverage and policy benefits are there to cover the cost, not just send you through a direct repair program. We make sure OEM parts are used when typically required, and that fault, services, and money are handled the right way so you are not left paying for something your insurance should cover.
You pick the shop NOT the insurance company
After a collision, your insurance company may recommend certain repair shops or direct repair program locations, sometimes called DRP shops or network shops. These are part of your insurer’s repair program, but they are not required. You have the legal right to choose any auto body shop or auto repair shop your trust. Your collision coverage allows you to take your damaged vehicle to the shop you prefer, not just the ones in your insurer’s network.
Direct repair programs, often called DRPs, are partnerships between insurance companies and auto body shops inside their repair network. These DRP shops agree to follow insurer pricing, labor rates, and repair program guidelines in exchange for a steady volume of customers. While these network shops may offer convenience and faster approvals, they are not required. When you bring your car to Vision Collision, you are choosing quality repairs, OEM parts when required, and a warranty backed by a carefully vetted local shop that works for you.
